futsal-leeds.org were invited by the Hamara Centre in Beeston to run a futsal competition at the Beeston Mela in Crossflatts Park. The games were played on the Multi Use Games Area (MUGA). Whilst the MUGA already had futsal sized goals, the lack of futsal lines meant a re-working of the rules. Tis allowed kick-ins if the ball hit the steel fencing.

The players quickly adapted to the conditions and though most of them had not played futsal before, quickly adopted futsal passing moves.

Once again futsal proved to be a real winner and we expect to work with the Hamara Centre to introduce more futsal soon.
